MidConn Anglers began as a non-federated bass club in 2003. In 2004, we decided as a club that it would be in our best interest to join the Connecticut Bass Federation Nation(CBFN). We are in our sixth year of existence as a club, and are located in the central part of the state. We were founded on the principle of having a concern for the improvement of the environment and its resources. We promote sportsmanship and a friendly exchange of fishing knowledge and skills. While members are competitive, we never lose sight of what the real intentions of the club are: to maintain a club atmosphere where one can sample tournament fishing and enjoy friendly competition. A few members of our club have several years of tournament fishing experience, while other members are relatively new to the sport. Everyone benefits from the knowledge and experience shared by all.
